Ann Hall

I am writing to express my interest in a position on the Water Board at Roxborough. With over 40 years of experience in water safety, pool management, and water chemistry, I am confident that my skills and background would contribute positively to the Board efforts in managing and maintaining safe and efficient water systems for the community.
I graduated from Kalaheo High School in 1978 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business in 1982, with a minor in Communication and Public Relations. This educational foundation provided me with a solid understanding of both management and public relations, which I have utilized throughout my career in the water industry.
Over the years, I have worked in a variety of water-related roles, starting as a lifeguard for the City and County of Honolulu and the City and County of Maui. I continued to work in pool management at Northwestern University, Wichita Swim Club, and Foothills Recreation District, before transitioning to my current role as the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) at Windcrest in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
In addition to my extensive hands-on experience, I am also a Certified Peristaltic Pump Technician and have developed a deep understanding of water chemistry and the mechanics necessary to maintain safe, clean, and balanced water systems. My experience in these areas would allow me to contribute valuable insights into the effective management of water infrastructure and safety systems.
Throughout my career, I have always prioritized water safety, quality, and community education, and I believe my expertise in these areas would align well with the mission of the Roxborough Water Board. I am committed to ensuring that our community continues to have access to high-quality, safe, and well-maintained water resources.
I would be honored to serve on the Water Board and bring my decades of knowledge and passion for water safety to the table. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to the continued success and growth of our community water systems.
Sincerely,
Ann Hall
